A walk sheet names the plots left off the page
If left-off plots are never named, a reader will count them as part of the walk.
A walk sheet carries four lines: plots included, plots left off, the day it was written, and the day it closes. The closing day is not a departure day and it is not a refund day. After that day, the page leaves use, and a reader should not treat it as the current walk. A stop list and an open season each keep their own date. They do not borrow the walk sheet’s closing day. This piece does not sell a ticket, arrange a vehicle or a room, or issue a farm certificate.
