Open Seasons
An open season names the first day a reader may start the page, the day reading must stop, and who may sign.
A season page has four lines: the start day, the stop day, the role of the person who may sign, and the cases the signature does not cover. The start day is not a departure day, and the stop day is not a refund day. We do not charge by season, and we do not call the season a crop guarantee. We do not issue a season page without a walk sheet. After the stop day, the reader should return to the walk sheet and see whether it has closed.
